This workshop is organised by BiberTech Ltd (the organiser). The organiser is responsible for managing registrations, payments, event delivery, and communication with attendees and can be contacted at info@bibertech.co.nz or +64 (21) 164 1685.
“Ticket” in this section means a general admission ticket providing entry to the Pressure Equipment Workshop 2026 (the Event). It does not include any supporter discount voucher described in section 2.
1.1 All ticket prices shown include any booking and payment processing fees.
1.2 Payment for all tickets must be made in full at the time of registration via the Humanitix ticketing platform, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the organiser. Registrations are not confirmed until full payment has been received. Where the organiser has agreed to invoice an attendee or their organisation, payment is due by the date stated on the invoice and the organiser reserves the right to cancel an unpaid registration.
1.3 Where tickets are refunded under these terms, the organiser will refund the total amount you paid to the organiser for the ticket, including any booking and payment processing fees that have been absorbed into the ticket price. This does not include any fees you may have paid to third parties independently of the ticket purchase.
1.4 Refunds for general admission tickets are available on the following basis:
Full refund of the total amount paid for the ticket for cancellation requests received on or before 17 July 2026.
50% refund of the total amount paid for the ticket for cancellation requests received from 18 July 2026 up to and including 21 August 2026 (14 days before the event on 4 September 2026).
No refunds for cancellation requests received on or after 22 August 2026 or after the Event has commenced.
1.5 Tickets may be transferred to another person for the same Event, provided that:
The organiser is notified in writing by email (info@bibertech.co.nz), including the original attendee’s name and the full details of the replacement attendee; and
The organiser confirms the change prior to the Event date.
The organiser may refuse a transfer where this is not reasonably practicable (for example, for safety, compliance, or administrative reasons). Any person receiving a transferred ticket is deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions and will be bound by them as if they were the original ticket holder.
1.6 Except as set out in these terms or required by New Zealand law, general admission tickets are non‑refundable and non‑transferable to other events.
2.1 The $50 supporter voucher is a discount instrument that does not by itself provide entry to the Event. It is an optional purchase and is not required to buy a general admission ticket.
2.2 Supporter vouchers are non‑refundable in all circumstances, including if the purchaser or intended attendee does not later buy or use a general admission ticket, except where a refund is required by New Zealand law.
2.3 Each supporter voucher entitles the holder to receive one discount of $70 off the standard general admission ticket price for this workshop only (Pressure Equipment Workshop 2026). It cannot be redeemed for cash.
2.4 The supporter discount:
Is valid for one general admission ticket only.
Cannot be combined with other discounts or applied to tickets for other events.
Must be redeemed in accordance with the instructions provided (for example, via a unique code or link) and by any stated expiry date, subject to any minimum expiry periods required under New Zealand law for vouchers or gift cards.
2.5 Supporter vouchers are transferable. The purchaser is responsible for arranging any transfer to another person. The organiser is not required to facilitate or record voucher transfers, but may assist at its discretion. Any person who uses a supporter voucher to obtain a discount on a ticket is deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
2.6 Nothing in this section affects any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law if the supporter voucher or associated discount benefits are not supplied with reasonable care and skill or are misrepresented
3.1 The workshop is scheduled to be held on Friday 4 September 2026 at a venue in Rotorua, New Zealand (full venue details will be provided in event communications and on the registration page).
3.2 The organiser reserves the right to change the Event programme, speakers, schedule, or venue within the same city where reasonably required, for example due to speaker availability, venue issues, or other operational constraints.
3.3 If the event is substantially changed, postponed, or cancelled by the organiser:
For a full cancellation with no replacement date, the organiser will offer a full refund of the total amount paid for the ticket, in line with section 1.2.
For a postponement or significant change (such as moving to different dates), the organiser will either:
Offer to transfer tickets to the new date; or
Offer a full refund of the total amount paid for the ticket to attendees who cannot or do not wish to attend the revised event.
3.4 If the Event is substantially changed, postponed, or cancelled under clause 3.3, any supporter vouchers and related discount entitlements will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. The organiser will act reasonably to seek outcomes that are fair to both attendees and the organiser, taking into account New Zealand consumer law and the nature of the change (including whether the Event is cancelled without replacement).
3.5 If the Event is affected by circumstances beyond the organiser’s reasonable control (for example, natural disasters, major public health restrictions, or other force majeure events), the organiser will act reasonably and in good faith in determining whether to proceed, postpone, or cancel, and what refunds or credits (if any) are appropriate in light of New Zealand consumer law.
4.1 Attendee information collected during registration is used for:
Event administration and ticketing
Safety and emergency management
Communication about this event (including event updates, logistical information, and post‑event follow‑up)
4.2 During checkout, attendees may be asked whether they consent to appearing on an attendee list. Where consent is given, the organiser may share the attendee’s name, organisation, and email address with other registered participants to support networking. If consent is not given, the attendee’s details will not be included in the shared attendee list.
4.3 Attendee details will not be sold to third parties. Any additional use (for example, invitations to future related events or newsletters) will be done in line with the consents collected at checkout and applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
5.1 All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or other inappropriate behaviour (including but not limited to aggressive, intimidating, or disruptive conduct) will not be tolerated.
5.2 The organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
Refuse admission; or
Remove any person from the Event
where their behaviour breaches this code of conduct or reasonably threatens the safety, comfort, or learning environment of other participants. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
5.3 Attendees must comply with all reasonable instructions from the organiser and venue staff, including health and safety requirements and any applicable laws or regulations. Attendees must follow all health and safety instructions given by the organiser or venue staff, including any emergency procedures notified at the Event. Anyone who feels unwell or has symptoms of a potentially contagious illness is encouraged not to attend in person and to contact the organiser to discuss available options (such as substitution of another attendee).
5.4 Attendees are welcome to take still photographs for their own personal use, provided they do not disrupt the Event or other participants and respect any confidentiality requests made by speakers. Attendees must not make any audio or video recordings of Event sessions or discussions without the prior written permission of the organiser and the relevant speaker.
5.5 The organiser may take photographs and may occasionally record video at the Event, and may use images that incidentally include attendees in Event reports, on websites, and in other promotional materials. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform the organiser on arrival so that reasonable steps can be taken to respect your preference.
6.1 To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, the organiser is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to the Event. Attendees are responsible for their own possessions at all times. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under New Zealand consumer law.
7.1 Nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
7.2 These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising in connection with them or the Event, are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You agree to submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts in relation to any such dispute.
